Work Location: Jurong East, Singapore (Global HQ)Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global FP&A, the incumbent will be the Finance Business Partner to Sales and Marketing/Manufacturing/SCM/Procurement/HR leadership globally in formulating short to mid business direction and plan.The Senior Analyst would work on an assigned Region most of the time as well as be involved in selected reporting requirement for global level.Key responsibilities:Facilitate the submission of forward-looking monthly forecasting, annual budget and long-term projections, followed with insightful analysis on trend & deviations.Conduct commercial analysis at in-depth level for actual data in financial statements, sales, production/CAPEX data, procurement data, inventory, Standard Costing Production variances and other relevant operational information.Highlight exceptions & provide feedback to management for improvement.Participate in global initiatives and projects on process improvement, system implementation, e.g.
Jedox.Develop and maintain tools and reporting templates to improve the efficiency, timeliness & accuracy in data collation, analysis and performance tracking.Hands-on work with Business Intelligent tools, SAP/BW systems.Support on other ad-hoc assignments.Responsibilities:Own and drive analysis of past trends & forward-looking of financial/business/operational information.Develop, implement and continuously improve on the methodology and process of compiling business data & information.Support analysis relating to KPI achievements e.g.
Revenue & profitability, by drilling down to Product Range, Sales Area & Customer levels.Perform analysis relating to product costing, manufacturing site costs, SCM costs, Inventory and CAPEX related processes for the Region assigned.Track & analyse KPI achievements at regional level, by drilling down to Product Range, Sales Area & Customer details.Actively participate in global projects & initiatives related to P&L.Support any other task(s) assigned by Senior Manager, Global FP&A.Requirements:Degree in finance/accounting with minimum 5 years' experience in FP&A and Standard Costing.Hands-on experience in production-oriented & manufacturing environment preferred.Knowledge of intermediate level of double-entries, basic understanding of intercompany transactions would be a plus.Excellent communication skills & fluency in business English.
Needs to be able to work with multicultural teams and communicate with various regional/global team members.Ability in designing & drawing graphs and interpreting them.Adept at working with large data sets and able to draw insights from it.Good understanding of ERP & BI Tools (SAP and SAP Business Warehouse will be an advantage).Excellent Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).Good sense of urgency in meeting reporting deadlines.Strong analytical skills, meticulous.About Us:DyStar is a leading specialty chemical company with a heritage of more than a century in product development and innovation from the textile industry.
