Responsibilities:Process Payments: (1) enters all invoices/requests (PO/Non PO) for payment accurately and timely into accounting module and in an orderly manner to maintain an efficient records system including coding as needed; (2) review and process T&E expenses; (3) perform payment run (check/ACH/wire).
Review all requests for payments for accuracy, proper supporting documentation (i.e.
appropriate approvals, original receipts, invoices, tax withholding forms), ensuring all past due amounts have been paid and compliance with established travel and expense policies.
Ensure correct and updated vendor master records in the system.
Monitor accounts Aging/APUV to ensure payments are up to date.
Reconcile vendor statements, deal with suppliers' queries, resolve differences (PO Variance/RMA), and make corrections of discrepancies promptly.
Prepare/enter journals and accruals as needed such as freight, utilities, etc.
Involve in month-end closing activities and reporting, perform Good-in-transit analysis and entry in a timely and accurate manner.
Involve in weekly out-flow cash forecast; and ensure the taking of cash discounts is in line with corporate cash management requirements.
Perform AP analysis; AP related reconciliation and reporting, including preparation and filing of information for required tax payment (1099), and involvement in audit and audit queries on AP matters.
Support team members on processing payment during critical periods or in their absence.
Requirements:Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, general accounting procedures and accounting standards, tax-related payment (i.e.
US sales tax).
Knowledge of SAP S4Hana, Concur, and shared services background will be highly advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Team player with a positive attitude and high degree of flexibility.
Proficient and attentive to detail, capable of management with minimum supervision and a strong work ethic.
