We are recruiting an Senior Applications Specialist who preferably has experience in pharmaceutical and/or food microbiology, to be our principal Applications support for the Industrial Microbiology portfolio.
You must be a customer and product centric person who enjoys challenges and thrives in a dynamic environment. Strong interpersonal skills will be needed to build effective relationships with customers as effective management of customer service and support is essential to the role.
Responsibilities: Provide technical support for pre-sales activities, such as product demonstrations, participate at exhibitions, and provide support to sales and marketing for all brands within company's portfolio.To be accountable for all pre-sales and post-sales application support and the on-site training to customers and stakeholders in designated markets/regions.Leverage strong structured problem-solving skills to identify and resolve customer needs.Communicate with the sales team to ensure all business needs are met, in managing client requests and provide problem-solving solutions. To keep up to date with current products and research trends and support internal training sessions to ensure product knowledge is at high levels within all relevant partiesProvide voice of customer to internal teams on product performance, implementation, and development areas, identify training and documentation gaps.Submit monthly report to Manager on application-related issues and updatesAs a customer-centric person, you will build and maintain a good business relationship with customers and various stakeholders. Assist Sales team with the management of accounts/ customers and activities to ensure the achievement of the company's sales targets Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or any other equivalent qualification Quick learner, team player and ability to work independently as requiredTakes pride in self and work, result-oriented and meticulousExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCandidates should have a minimum 3 years' experience in QC laboratory team for the microbiological control of food and/or biopharma of a leading production company in Singapore.Good knowledge of local regulations in Food and Pharmaceuticals testing.Experience in an applied science area (eg. institutional Research) is an added advantageStrong analytical, technical troubleshooting and presentation skillsAbility to multitask and adjust quickly.Must be willing to travel regionally and internationally as required The candidates we seek shall have qualities that are in line with our corporate values; leadership, integrity, versatility, security, and excellence - individuals who have a passion for new and advanced technologies, therapies and solutions for our research and healthcare systems.
