Reporting to the Category Manager you will be responsible for:
Engaging and building relationships with top sellers to plan assortment, pricing, promotional and campaign activities on Lazada to achieve sales goals;
Analyzing and preparing weekly performance figures to management, active participation in weekly and monthly business reviews for the Women's Clothing category;
Developing understanding of Women's Clothing category dynamics in the market, spotting trends and supporting category manager to develop category strategy to grow the segment on Lazada;
Constantly be prepared to learn new skill sets and be on the forefront of e-commerce knowledge development, and coach sellers to adopt new tools and features to drive customer engagement and retention;
Working with cross-functional teams to execute on campaigns and strategic projects;
Job Requirements
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience;
Experience in sales and sales management;
Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently and idiomatically;
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis;
Action and solution-oriented mindset, comfortable in fast-moving entrepreneurial environment;
Strong ownership and attention to details;
Passion about improving both customer and seller experience;
Team spirit and enthusiasm about learning;
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in merchandising, preferably working in a fast-paced environment eg tech startup, e-commerce or digital agency;
Experience in retail is an added advantage, either in retailer as brand principal/distributor;
Ability to translate analysis and insights into actionable strategy;
