Role reports to: Head of Marketing, MYSG Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor D.E.
- Malaysia What you will do * We now have a great opportunity for a Brand Manager to join our Consumer Health business.
Working within the Marketing Team you will be responsible for leading our consumer marketing brands.
You will work closely with the cross-functional Teams and Regional Counterparts in order to create and execute initiatives through the Consumer Journey.
Key competencies * Apply in-depth understanding of consumer and marketplace dynamics to pursue end-to-end brand management and development.
* Applies working knowledge of brand strategies and brand building tactics to provide input in the planning process and execution of them * Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media * Develop Influencer Marketing Engagement Plans to build relevance for Brands * Assisting with pricing and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities * Demonstrates knowledge of the brand P&L and its components to determine implications of marketing decisions on brand profitability * Strong analytical capabilities to lead brand performance analysis and deliver recommendations Key Responsibilities * Implementation of brand strategies of a portfolio of brands * Build and support the creation of innovative and effective campaigns to increase sales & market share in your Brands.
From development of concepts with agency, briefing of media agency down to executions of campaigns * Manage new product launches, from working with supply chain on inventory, prepare pricing to preparing presentations to customers * Attend and contribute to relevant brand team meetings and business planning process.
* Lead external agency relationships and ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.
* Work with media partners to implement optimizations to digital campaigns * Working directly with agencies to develop or adapt assets that support all marketing initiatives.
* Lead launch of NPDs to ensure flawless execution.
* Work closely with the Shopper & Customer Development team to implement commercial initiatives to drive profitability.
* Competitor and consumer insights analysis * To work on Annual Business/Brand Planning to strategize for following year * Develop Brand Plans for your brand to deliver Category growth and present to key Customers.
* Participate in customer meetings, especially joint business planning with key customers * To champion your brand within the broader organization.
What we are looking for Required Qualifications * A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, Marketing/Business preferred * Minimal 5 years of Brand Management Experience in an FMCG environment essential.
* Commercial understanding with strong financial acumen * Understanding of P&L Development * Experience with executing digital/online marketing strategies is required * Can do attitude, with the ability to influence and work in a collaborative way * Proven implementation ability * Proactive and results driven * Good Interpersonal skills with the ability to influence * Flexibility to adapt plans/challenges as they arise * Passion for building brands and a proven track record in developing brand strategies is required What's in it for you * Competitive Benefit Package* * Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time, & More!
