Purpose of the Job/Job Mission Responsible for actively identifying, creating, and expanding business opportunities for the company's products within targeted markets. Develop an in-depth understanding of customer needs and offer solutions, alternatives, and improvements to provide value for customers. Thorough knowledge of customers, markets, capabilities, and suppliers. Be an expert in the territory so that the business is positioned for future growth. Work closely with all facets of the organization, communicating key information and business trends as well as be an integral part of customer supply chain decisions. Effectively manage the territory and consistently provide superior customer service. He/She should develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue in his/her territory, in line with projected company goals.  Responsibilities and Accountabilities  Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the technical specifications, manufacturing processes, applications and mechanical strengths of GRP pipes and the Company's other products and their comparison to competing materials and brands. Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in GRP technology. Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients in industries such as water and wastewater, oil and gas, chemical processing, and infrastructure development to generate new business opportunities. Consultative Selling: Engage with clients to understand their project requirements and recommend suitable GRP pipe or other company solutions. Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process. Proposal Development: Prepare detailed and customized proposals, including technical specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules. Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure alignment with client needs. Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and project managers in client organizations and within engineering consulting companies. Position the company as a trusted partner for GRP pipe solutions. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and potential areas for growth. Provide insights to support strategic decision-making and marketing initiatives. Marketing support: Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. Training and Education: Organize and help conduct product training sessions for clients, distributors, and internal sales teams. Stay informed about the latest developments in GRP pipe technology and share knowledge with relevant stakeholders. Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the benefits and advantages of GRP pipes in various applications. Address technical inquiries and concerns effectively. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project status. Generate reports to track sales performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategies. Customer Support: Provide post-sales support, including technical assistance, troubleshooting, and coordination with internal teams for successful project implementation. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
