About The Role
Nexperia is a global semiconductor company, producing billions of microchips every year.
The design, production, and distribution of these microchips is a complex worldwide process depending on many different crucial IT systems.
Non-product related procurement (NPR) is a major part of the global procurement organization with a total spend of more than $300M.
The NPR commodities are IT, Facility, Energy, Logistics, and professional services.
The NPR organization consists of 2 global commodity managers, 2 regional leads (EU+ASIA), a Lead in the Netherlands, and over 15 local NPR purchasers over 6 production sites worldwide.
Because of our growth ambitions, we are looking for a globally focused Senior Category Sourcing Manager focusing on IT.
What You Will Do
Manage the total IT spend ($50-60M) on a global level.
Liaise with IT vendors and our (IT, HR, Factory) departments for routine and ad-hoc procurement projects to secure the best IT performance throughout the organization.
Payment term negotiation, contract, and vendor performance management.
Benchmark and formulate best-fit procurement vehicles to drive cost savings and efficiency improvement.
Measure the supplier performance and provide them with constructive feedback.
Sourcing market information, latest trends, and benchmarking best practices in the procurement area.
Enforce the procurement policy and ensure all purchases are fully compliant with the requirements.
What You Will Need
BSc Business degree or a related study and for example a CIPS, NEVI, or similar procurement education.
Solid sourcing category experience in the IT area.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
Proven project management experience with data-driven analytical & problem-solving skills.
Flexible in adapting to changing deadlines, priorities, and requirements.
International travel to strategic suppliers will be part of this challenging job.
