Salary Range: Basic MYR6,500 – MYR11,000
Working Days: Mon - Fri
Working Hours: 9am – 6pm
Job Responsibilities
Project Management:
• Lead and manage multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Design and Planning:
• Develop detailed designs, plans, and specifications for a variety of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure.
• Plan all construction operations and schedule.
Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including technicians.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Preparing technical concept paper, proposal and presentation materials for projects progress status.
• Prepare and present reports on various topics including bid proposals, environmental impact statements, and property descriptions.
Compliance:
• Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation and permits.
Quality Control:
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
Client Relations:
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress, address concerns, and provide solutions to any issues that arise.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and staff. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Budget Management:
• Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Propose innovative solutions to improve project efficiency and sustainability.
• Minimum the project costing.
• Ensure the project timeline delivery timely.
• Ensure the project resource is utilized at the optimal level.
• Zero complaint during/after the handover of the project.
Job Requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Job Experience:
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
Specific skills & Computer Skills:
• Software: Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, C++ programs, Photoshop (basic), SketchupPro (basic), Civil 3D, or similar.
Personal characteristics:
• Well communication skills
• Excellent project management and supervision skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Good command of communication skills
