About the roleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team at SHL HPE INNOVATION SDN. BHD. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components and parts at our facility in Simpang Ampat Penang.
What you'll be doing
Develop and write CNC machine programs to manufacture components and parts with a high degree of accuracy
Optimise CNC machine programs to improve production efficiency and reduce waste
Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring that components and parts are produced to the specified quality standards
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to maintain optimal performance
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve manufacturing processes and implement new technologies
Provide training and support to less experienced CNC operators
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the engineering industry
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Hands-on experience in programming and operating a variety of CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and routers
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and optimize CNC machine performance
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with cross-functional departments
Knowledge of industry-standard CNC programming languages, such as G-code and M-code
