Project Description:
We require an experienced Murex Business Analyst to work across our client base in Malaysia.
The role will suit a techno/ functional resource with extensive knowledge of the Murex FO/BO.
Responsibilities:
• Strong Experience in Murex System MX3.1 application on the Datamart and MxML related Configurations.
• Knowledge in Treasury Products including CURR/IRD/CRE/COMM/EQD/SCF.
• Ability to reconcile for IRS/CCS/Bond, FX, commodities, credit, cash flow, income & other assets classes.
• Good understanding of the end to end products flow cycles from FO, MO and BO.
• Ability to document the end to end flow and also correctly map the fields between the templates/reports based on Regulatory needs and validation by the users.
• Involve in the resolution of the defects and also support the project manager on time to time.
• Drive the functional and technical workshop and handhold the various stakeholders during the discussion.
• Expected to have good understanding of main functional & technical components of the MX.3 datamart and MxML modules and its capabilities.
• Participate in the UAT cycle and help the developers / PM to handle the functional defects responses with the users.
• Update the defect information in the system and also work closely with Murex vendors on defect chasing and closure.
• Work closely with the Support team around the go-live timelines and explain the key changes which is implemented as part of the project.
• Share the relevant documents with the Support team which would be linked with the project team.
Mandatory Skills Description:
• 6+ years of experience as Murex Business Analyst.
• Good understanding and working experience of designing and implementing Datamart and MxML.
• Experience in Murex Development/Migration of DataMart reporting MX 2.11, MX3 Murex DataMart reports.
• Good understanding on the data model differences between Mx 2.11 and Mx 3.1.
• Experience in Simulation based Reports and Risk Matrix based reports, complex reports would be required.
• Good exposure dynamic tables, pre and post filters, feeders, batch of feeders, extractions, reporting tables and processing scripts.
• SQL based reports and extractions.
• Knowledge in optimising the workflows by consolidating and clean up redundant workflows.
• Knowledge on development, tracing and troubleshooting of Pre trade rules at pricing and booking sequence.
• Knowledge on OSP configurations, access rights and validation process.
• Ability to work proactively, independently when necessary and displays strong initiative.
Technical/Functional skills:
• Murex Application MX3.1.
• SQL Experienced in coding and programming.
• Understanding of Murex Datamart modules end-to-end.
• Murex Datamart Configuration & Development.
• MxML data dictionary for workflows and templates.
• OSP configurations.
• Pre trade rules.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
