In this position you will join our environmental and planning business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of industrial projects - from environmental impact assessment (pre and post), waste to energy, circular economy, policy development, feasibility/advisory studies, sub-consultant and sub-vendors management, preparing tenders/proposals, business development, and client relations.

As an Industrial and Waste Senior Consultant at Aurecon, you will help our clients develop and implement sustainable and responsible business strategies while reducing their environmental impact.
In this hybrid full-time role, you will be based in Petaling Jaya with flexibility to work remotely.
Your day-to-day tasks will include potential client liaison, expanding client network, analysing data, conducting research, creating reports, and providing advice to clients on embedding sustainability into their business operations.

You will also need the following:
PhD, MSc or BSc.
in Environmental/Civil/Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Environmental Technology.
Min 5-7 years in related industry, preferably in consultancy.
Registered EIA Consultant with DOE Malaysia.
Able to lead consultancy projects and project teams while meeting deadlines and client's expectations.
Able to carry out air and noise modelling.
Waste management experience is advantageous.
Strong written, verbal communication, and data presentation skills.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in sustainability consulting or related field.
Fluency in English is required, and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.
