Job Summary:The Videographer cum Video Editor is responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with the social's brand and marketing objectives. This role combines technical video production skills with creative editing to create compelling visual narratives across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate is proficient in both videography and post-production editing, with a strong eye for detail and storytelling.
Job RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Video Production:Plan, shoot, and produce video content for a wide range of purposes including promotional videos, social media content, event coverage, interviews, and corporate presentations.
Video Editing:Edit raw footage into polished final videos, ensuring high-quality output with attention to pacing, sound, and visual storytelling.
Creative Input:Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to brainstorm and develop innovative video concepts that align with brand messaging.
Post-Production:Handle all aspects of post-production, including editing, color grading, sound mixing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
Storyboarding:Assist in developing storyboards and video outlines to ensure alignment with creative direction and project goals.
Equipment Setup & Maintenance:Operate and maintain camera equipment, lighting, audio, and other production tools to ensure optimal video quality.
Project Management:Manage multiple video projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining a high standard of quality.
Content Repurposing:Adapt and repurpose video content for various platforms and formats, including social media, web, and presentations.
File Management:Organize and archive raw footage, project files, and final videos in an efficient manner for future use.
Continuous Learning:Stay updated on the latest video production and editing trends, tools, and techniques to enhance video content quality and creativity.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience as a videographer and video editor in a professional environment.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar.
Strong understanding of camera equipment, lighting, and audio for video production.
A solid portfolio showcasing a range of video production and editing work.
Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and color correction is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong storytelling skills with a creative and detail-oriented mindset.
Experience with social media video content (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) is a plus.
Key Skills:Video shooting and editing expertise.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling.
Proficiency in post-production software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects).
Knowledge of audio mixing and color grading.
