Job DescriptionWe are seeking aSenior Contract Management Specialistto join our Contract Management team within the Procurement department. This role involves managing a mix of high-value, complex contracts and a high volume of routine contract renewals, spanning various procurement categories, including IT, Network, and Corporate Services. A strategic thinker with extensive hands-on experience in contract drafting, negotiations, stakeholder management, and post-contract administration, including managing post contract disputes, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:Contract Strategy & Management: Lead the development, drafting and execution of strategies for high-value contracts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address user challenges and draft vendor obligations that are business-friendly.
Negotiations & Renewals: Drive contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and manage high-volume contract renewals efficiently.
Risk Management: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, proactively identify potential risks, and develop governance frameworks.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders, act as the main point of contact for contract inquiries for the Procurement Category, and oversee vendor performance.
Post-Contract Administration: Oversee contract execution, monitor performance, resolve disputes, and facilitate drafting of amendments as needed.
Accountabilities:Strategic Leadership: Demonstrate proactive leadership, timely contract negotiations and driving for closure, guide process improvements, and mentor junior team members.
Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed targets related to contract savings, risk mitigation, and vendor performance. Implement and track KPIs.
Continuous Development: Stay updated on industry trends, participate in training programs, and foster a culture of improvement.
Experience and Skills:Min 5 Years Experience in Corporate In-House Legal division is an added advantage.
Experience: 10+ years in contract management, contract drafting and negotiations with proven project management skills driving contracts negotiations to closure.
Hard Skills: Strong understanding of contract terms, negotiation tactics, risk management, and post-contract dispute resolution.
Soft Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented, stakeholder management and adaptive. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are a must.#J-18808-Ljbffr
