Overall responsible for tender management, contract procurement, subcontractor coordination, pre-bid agreements, and other commercial administrative matters.
Managing risks and finalizing terms and conditions to mitigate unfavorable or disadvantageous provisions for the company.
Preparing costing and estimates for tender pricing, including compilation and submission.
Defining and allocating the scope of work responsibilities.
Post-Contract Administration Collaborating closely with the project team to address situations that may lead to EOT, VO, and other claims or disputes, ensuring effective management of the main contract and subcontract administration and accounts.
Enhancing contractual and technical knowledge to improve post-contract administration and correspondence, while minimizing disputes and effectively managing risks.
Handling and responding to all contractual letters and correspondences, while providing guidance on contractual requirements.
Overall responsible for contract procurement, risk management, claims and final accounts management, subcontractor coordination, documentation management, and other commercial administrative tasks.
Providing support to other departments in all legal and contractual matters, including supplier agreements, dispute resolution, and other related issues.
Reviewing, evaluating, and making recommendations on bids and quotations submitted by subcontractors.
Other Responsibilities Establishing project budgets for P&L review, recording, and monitoring.
Mentoring, monitoring, and coaching subordinates to support their personal growth and succession planning.
Familiar with STP and pipe jacking construction processes and operations to build foundational knowledge and develop cost awareness in the industry, while also providing guidance and advice to subordinates for improved task execution, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Familiar with Contract Department's SOPs and ISO practices, focusing on continuous improvement and implementation.
Staying informed about market trends and developments in the construction industry, particularly in the coming year, as the company registers with CIDB and Master Builders to conduct courses and seminars for participation.
Requirements At least Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, Architecture, or any related field.
Requires 10 to 15 years of experience.
Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with Microsoft Project and AutoCAD would be considered an added advantage.
Candidates must be proficient in both spoken and written in Chinese and English. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia would be an added advantage.
