Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.JR55965 Senior Cost AccountantIn this Role as financial analyst in Micron, you will be responsible for understanding the Micron Manufacturing Process, Product, Level attribution, Manufacturing cost inputs and how these all work together to build our standard product cost.As key part of Standard costing, this role participates in the timely setting of standards across raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.The role will need to partner closely with the Global Cost Consolidation and Inventory Accounting teams based in the US, the Asia based site manufacturing finance teams, and site operations.Additional responsibilities include supporting product costing models and cost forecast models for projections and analysis.Job Responsibilities:Build and maintain effective relationship to collaborate with global finance teamfamiliarity with costing system Impact IECS, ERP system SAP, Financial reporting tools such as TM1, Power BI, or Adaptive Insights.Dedicated person who is able to work independently and communicate with all relevant internal teams and external business partners at all times.Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills, as well as good verbal and written communication skills and ability to conceptualize.Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environmentDevelop subject matter expertise of Micron Supply Chain Manufacturing and product flowDevelop a strong understanding of data inputs in support of Standard Cost SettingAnalyze/explain standard cost forecast changesPresent data summaries and recommendations of improvementsAnalyze/explain manufacturing variance on monthly basis Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance/accountingProfessional qualifications will be an added advantage5 years or more experience in standard costing or Operation finance related fieldStrong in Excel, Power BI, and ERP system will be an added advantage
