Your contributions will be critical to enhancing our Secondary English & Writing Programme and our Online student experience, pushing the boundaries of excellence in education.
The Senior Curriculum Specialist will act as a conduit for innovation, quality, and effective teaching practices, making this role a linchpin in our organisation's evolution and expansion.Responsibilities:Lead the development and continuous improvement of the English and Writing curriculum for our Secondary programme in Malaysia and our Online programmes in Singapore.
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to ensure the curriculum aligns with national and international educational standards and market needs in Singapore and Malaysia.
Create and implement high-quality curriculum materials for Secondary English and Writing subjects.
Develop impactful and innovative solutions to enhance the Online student experience in Singapore and Malaysia.
Gather feedback from key stakeholders and analyse student performance metrics to inform curriculum adjustments.
Organise and facilitate teacher training programmes to support effective curriculum delivery.Outcome:Achieve significant enhancements in the Secondary curriculum for Malaysia and the online student experience for both Singapore and Malaysia.
Improve parent and student satisfaction, measured by clear metrics.
Contribute to improved student performance in English and Writing subjects through high-quality curriculum materials.
Implement curriculum updates promptly, ensuring alignment with educational trends and standards.Skills Required:At least 2 years of experience in teaching and curriculum development, preferably in English and Writing programmes.
Experience in developing curriculum for Online programmes is a plus.
Strong knowledge of international and national English curricula in Malaysia.
Strong proficiency in English language and writing pedagogy.
Familiar with education-related technology and platforms, with preferred online teaching experience.
Ability to research educational trends, identify curriculum gaps and propose innovative solutions.
Skilled in analysing student performance metrics to inform curriculum adjustments.
Proficient in Google Workspace, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and technology in general.Attributes:A responsible team member with excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with Curriculum Leads, teachers, and other stakeholders, even under pressure.
A highly resourceful and self-directed learner, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to change.
Extremely meticulous with strong organisational and research skills, data-driven, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
