Role Summary:
As a Senior Demand Planner at Baxter Healthcare Corporation, you will have the unique opportunity to lead Demand and Inventory Planning activities for assigned countries.
This role is essential in ensuring critical metrics such as forecast accuracy, on-time in-full delivery, back order management, and inventory optimization are met.

Responsibilities:
Lead Demand and Inventory Planning activities for assigned countries
Develop accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales trends, researching factors that drive demand, and using strategic forecast data and statistical models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce forecast errors and refine forecast models based on updated sales and marketing assumptions
Work closely with commercial teams to incorporate portfolio changes and new product launches into the demand forecast
Prepare and present strategic Integrated Business Planning (SIOP) reviews with General Managers at the country/cluster level
Use planning software to update forecasts considering supply constraints, while also overseeing customer limits and product allocation.
Develop and implement inventory plans and strategies for current items, new products, and phase-outs, ensuring any discrepancies in inventory are reported and resolved.
Mitigate back-order risks through collaboration with Segment Market planning and obtain approval on mitigation costs for supply issues
Communicate planning-related concerns and issues to the commercial team
Measure, analyze, and report key process metrics, driving improvements in forecast accuracy, back orders, on-time delivery, and inventory reduction
Identify and implement enhancements to business processes to improve operational efficiencies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required
Strong data analytics skills to provide insights and analysis for demand forecasting
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others in order to foster collaboration and facilitate decision-making
Extensive knowledge and experience in demand and supply planning processes
Solid understanding of effective supply chain performance and operations management
Deep knowledge in demand planning processes and methodologies, with strong mathematical and statistical abilities
Focused on delivering excellent customer service
Experience working in a team-based environment
Equivalent education or experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree is acceptable
Supply chain planning experience with a focus on process improvements and team development
APICS certification is an advantage
Advanced analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
Proficiency in planning systems such as RapidResponse
Familiarity with software packages including Windows and Microsoft Office#J-18808-Ljbffr
