JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Prepares detailed conceptual and working drawings, specifications, bill of quantities and bill of material documents for comprehensive current projects and/or tender requirement submission. Leads and coordinates the activities of lower graded drafters and/or other support staff, to ensure complete project submission as per schedule.
JOB DESCRIPTION / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leads and coordinates the activities of lower graded drafters and/or other support staff, to ensure completion of the project submission as per schedule.Prepares complete and detailed drawings for comprehensive projects involving ELV System structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, Design and other systems using advanced computer-aided drafting techniques.To take full responsibilities in planning works with lower graded drafters and/or other support staff to ensure completion of works for project submission as per schedule.Prepares complete design submission such as concept design drawing, Final design drawing, Construction drawing, Redline drawing and As built drawing as the project timeline.Prepares complete 3D design drawing, rendering and BIM (building information modelling) as part of project completion submission.Prepares specification, bill of quantity, and bill of material documents, and detailed cost estimates for design projects.Performs detailed inspections of manufacturing or fabrication equipment for the comprehensive project requirement.To liaise and coordinate with manufacturing, subcontractor or client to ensure compliance to the design requirement and schedule for the project completion.Prepares and/or assists in preparing correspondence to clients and contractors, cost estimates, bid documents, and purchase requisitions for project completion.May provide graphics services for architectural models, forms, signs, and other miscellaneous projects.Prepares reporting progress of the works as required by the superior or the project managerMust be capable of reading and understanding customer requirements in the form of quotations and specifications and applying applicable (CAD) details.Must have working knowledge of drafting fundamentals including orthographic views, standard dimensioning practices, scaling plus English and metric units of measure.Must be capable of developing and documenting drafting standards with an understanding of efficiency and financial impact.Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
