Senior Design Engineer

Main Responsibilities
• To plan, organize, schedule and coordinate the construction works at shop/site.
• To prepare preliminary design calculation and cost estimation works for proposals, tenders, and
quotations.
• To monitor, checking, plan, organize and schedule the drafting works at Design Department.
• To assist preparation / updating design calculation and construction drawings for Pressure vessels,
Heat exchangers, Store Tanks and other which are involved in the mechanical design or process
design.
• To prepare, submit and follow up all relevant design and drawing approvals required by local
authority (ie: DOSH or 3 rd Party Inspection Co.)
• To liaise and resolve detail / status with the DOSH engineers / officer, client's engineer and other
who are involved in the design calculations and drafting works.
• To review / administer the contractual matters related to the construction work.
• To prepare production document / procedure and conduct briefing on the right sequence of
construction works.
• To assist preparation of QC document/procedure and coordinate QC inspection for construction
works.
• You are required to travel outstation from time to time in connection with your duties.
• You have to work overtime or on holidays when necessary, in line with your duties to ensure project
are on schedule.
• Any other duties associated with your position as and when necessary, from time to time.
Qualification & Experience
• Minimum Degree in Engineering.
• Preferably 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
Skill
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Job Requirement
• Preferable has knowledge in software (COMPRESS, PV Elite & HTRI) is required.
Authority
• Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external related to their specific areas of
operations.
• Initiate and monitor operations activities within their scope of responsibility
Benefits : Working time: 8.25 hours / 5 days/ week
The duration of the contract: 2 years
Provided accommodation and transportation at Malaysia
Annual leave: 20 days follow local engineer
