Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Interior Sales Designer, your major duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
Assist the company in managing site project works.
Attend to and resolve all discrepancies found during inspections, defects, or complaints from clients.
Work closely with customers in recommending kitchen and wardrobe designs and space planning solutions.
Prepare sales quotations and process orders.
Effectively coordinate installations and ensure deadlines are met.
Follow up with customers when required.
Display a high level of customer relations service and professionalism when dealing with customers.
Site supervision, measurement, and coordination.
Ensure continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, cost saving, and minimize wastage by estimating the quantity of materials needed in all projects.
Report to Management on the progress and work activities.

The Interior Sales Designer, as a bridge between clients and internal production, is tasked to translate requirements and preferences from clients into masterpieces, balancing carpentry limitations and clients' choices.
Interior Sales Designers at Kitchen Story are unique and special; they are required to undergo thorough training on carpentry fabrication processes & material properties and selection for a minimum of 1 month before they can meet any prospects when they first join.

Learning is a continuous culture embedded in Kitchen Story.
Each production worker has to continuously register for courses or workshops at least twice a year to keep abreast with the latest advanced technologies in wood processing.
With that, they are exposed to best practices in production methods, latest machinery, and accessories.
Besides, we have "peer-learning and sharing" weekly, where each of them competes for the best ideas and methods for production improvement.
With digitalization and rapid changes in design software, our in-house interior designers are bound to register for courses at least twice a year for skill upgrading, not just in designing skills but also in adapting to the latest software.
