Senior Dive Technician ( Electrical)Work Location:WorldwideProject/ Vessel:KhankendiJOB SUMMARYAs a Dive System Technician specializing in electrical systems, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems within dive equipment. Working primarily with underwater life support systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of diving apparatus. This position involves a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.RESPONSIBILITIESInspection and Maintenance
Conduct routine inspections of electrical components within dive systems.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
Identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.Repair and Troubleshooting
Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in dive systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wiring, connectors, sensors, and other electrical components.
Collaborate with the broader technical team to address complex problems.Testing and Calibration:
Conduct electrical testing to verify the proper functioning of components.
Calibrate sensors, controllers, and other electronic systems to meet safety and performance standards.Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
Document any modifications or upgrades to electrical systems.Collaboration:
Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and dive system specialists to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
Provide input for system improvements and modifications.Safety Compliance:
Adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines.
Ensure that all electrical components meet industry safety standards.QUALIFICATIONS
Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification or degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.Experience:Proven experience as an electrical technician, preferably with expertise in diving or similar life support systems.
Familiarity with underwater electrical components is highly desirable.Skills:Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
