An ExperiencedContent EditorandWritercreates, edits, and manages high-quality written content to ensure clarity and alignment with brand objectives. They collaborate with team members to develop engaging content while enforcing editorial standards to maintain consistency. Additionally, they adapt content strategies based on industry trends to optimize audience engagement in YYC's website and social media platforms.This role mainly produces Mandarin content.
Job Responsibilities:
Create marketing copy for all YYC business workshops and services, producing high-quality, engaging content.
Develop and oversee the content for EDMs (Electronic Direct Mail) and landing pages to ensure alignment with brand objectives and marketing goals.
Prepare professional materials for corporate communications, including interviews, speeches, and profiles for company directors.
Edit, organize, and summarize information to produce the weekly newsletter, collaborating with departments for review and ensuring timely online publication.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage newsletter broadcasts to clients and maintain consistent brand messaging.
Manage and liaise with outsourced writers for article production, assigning topics, and coordinating content reviews with relevant departments for publication.
Edit and refine content produced by other writers, enhancing clarity and engagement, while also contributing original written articles.
Analyse mergers and acquisitions, economic news, and other relevant updates to generate timely, relevant content for YYC's audience.
Write clear, concise, and impactful copy across various formats, including ads, news articles, and website content, to engage target audiences effectively.
Proofread and edit content for clarity and accessibility, collaborating with professional teams (company secretaries, accountants, auditors) to produce commercially relevant material.
Good team player with strong business acumen, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Job Requirements:
A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications / Art / Design / Creative Multimedia / Advertising / Media or its equivalent.
Ability to conceptualize creative and effective advertising ideas.
Creative, copywriting, and editing skills. Translate thoughts or information to words succinctly.
Ability to produce relevant image and layout.
Planning and organizing skills. Ability to balance priorities.
Ability to interact well with people.
Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking clients and product content in Mandarin.
Has experience in copywriting and editing with preferable experience in advertising and the print and online platforms.
