Senior Electrical Engineer - Automation Design
Responsibilities:Lead a small group of engineers to complete automation projects on time and within the scope and budget.
Design and develop PLC-based and PC-based control systems for complex automation mechanisms.
Design, develop & debug software programs for complex automation systems, including COBOT/Industrial Robot programming and advanced motion control using high-speed linear motors, servo & stepper motors.
Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams & panel layouts for complex electrical systems, including machine control panels, power distribution, and drive systems.
Participate in data collection and I/O checking for assigned machines/projects.
Engage in machine system integrations, troubleshooting & system commissioning (FAT & SAT).
Prepare documentation for automation systems such as electrical schematics diagrams, user manuals, troubleshooting guides & spare part lists.
Provide training/support to customers' engineering team to ensure long-term machine/system sustainability.
Liaise with vendors to support procurement and resolve project-related issues if required.
Coach and develop junior engineers in technical skill sets development.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years of working experience in the related field.
Experience in PLC & HMI programming (Omron, Keyence) is a MUST.
Strong logical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills are a MUST.
Proactive, highly independent, and committed to assigned projects is a MUST.
Experience in National Instrument LabVIEW or C#.
Experience in Robot programming (Industrial Robot/COBOT).
