Add expected salary to your profile for insightsThe candidate is responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of database administration to meet the business needs and service level for MSSQL and Sybase.Make an Impact by:Provide 1st and 2nd level operational database support.Monitor the tickets (SR, Incident, Change request), acknowledge timely and assist within agreed service level, maintain the database configuration & documentation; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.Assist and respond promptly to incidents, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated.Manage database changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.Monitor & measure the performance & availability of databases proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve.Maintain a knowledge base to ensure database intellectual property is retained.Perform regular security patching for the DBs including Cluster db.Handle service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.Manage DB access.
