Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Conduct electrical failure analysis for manufacturing, quality, and customer failure drives for both NPI and sustaining products.
Identify the root cause of failures, including hardware (NAND, ASIC, PMIC, DDR), firmware, assembly process etc.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to implement corrective action plans (CAPAs) as needed.
Maintain and update the Cookbook for debug, manufacturing, and quality failures.
Drive yield improvement and continuous improvement initiatives on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering, preferably with 0-5 years of experience in electrical failure analysis.
New College Graduates with 0-2 years of experience are welcomed to apply.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience using standard electrical failure analysis bench tools.
Understanding of SSD architecture design.
Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and component data sheets.
Knowledge using JTAG debugger and log analysis.
Experience using TDR, digital multimeter, oscilloscope, protocol analyzer, and logic analyzer for trace/bus capture.
Proficiency in Python scripting (preferred).
