Responsibilities:
Support production in their daily operation by ensuring all equipment is in good health and safe working condition.
Troubleshoot and provide advice on any production equipment breakdown in a minimum time to reduce long downtime periods.
Plan and execute weekly, monthly, and yearly preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment under supervision.
Liaise with vendors during sourcing or purchasing of spare parts for equipment in the plant.
Supervise contractors when a project is carried out in the plant.
Oversee subordinates in their daily work.
Maintain and update spare parts inventory regularly to avoid long downtime during machine breakdowns.
Conduct in-house training for subordinates to enhance their technical skills and motivate them to excel.
Assist superiors in planning and designing new equipment setups, projects, or job requisitions.
Ensure all subordinates adhere to strict company guidelines in discipline, ISO, Q4M, 5S, Kaizen, ICC, etc.
