BROAD FUNCTIONS :
New product transfer specifically in DET (Dynamic Electrical Test) measurement.
Data analysis, Correlation analysis and FA.
Test module transfer from Great Oaks and Shenzhen.
GRR and statistical analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Regular
Liaise with NPI & Sputter process on new SMO or new program line qualification activities.
Monitor DET data and results closely and discuss with sputter process accordingly.
Understand the methodology for new test module from GO/SZ and buy off prior to release to production floor.
Responsible for benchmarking on a continuous basis among internal and external disk and be involved in product comparison.
Resource and tester capacity planning in supporting new program or SMO activities.
Responsible for analysis on data, component vs HDD correlation and GR&R.
Always deal with PHO and THO head team to ensure continuous head supply with the required specification.
Prepare and present EVT package for new program in order to get HDD team agreement to build into drive.
Involve in drive build data and correlation analysis and provide valuable opinion to improve internal product performance.
Compile and propose Guzik specification to Product & Sputter group based on process capabilities during EEN/FEN/DPPM qualification stage until mass production.
Supervise and coach a group of technicians to perform daily tasks.
Support DET testing for internal process evaluation.
Understand and accept responsibility for performing jobs safely.
Follow safety and health rules.

REQUIREMENTS :
Academic Qualification :
Degree in Electrical & Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or Physics.
Experience and Skills Required :
Minimum 1 - 2 years experience in process or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of gauge study/statistical process will be an advantage.
Knowledge in magnetic recording and heads will be an advantage.
Experience in C++ or Excel macro will be an added advantage.
