Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer, Mechanical (Simulation) to join our team in Bukit Damansara, Malaysia. In this role, you will lead and execute complex simulation projects, leveraging your expertise in mechanical engineering and advanced simulation techniques to drive innovation and product development.
This discipline emphasizes problem-solving skills to deliver safe, sustainable, and ethical solutions in the design, production, and operation of devices, machinery, structures, processes, and systems that include mechanical elements.
Duties and Responsibilities Serves as a senior technical resource and advisor within the team.Provides specialized technical guidance in studies and designs in areas of specific expertise.Develops study and design protocols to enable efficient, high-quality work by colleagues.Participates in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.Prepares construction cost estimates and estimates for technical efforts required in projects.Utilizes expertise in all stages of completing the discipline component for PS&E packages.Conducts quality control reviews of design calculations and technical drawings.Prepares sections of technical specifications.Contributes to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering requiredMinimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on simulationAdvanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application in simulationExpertise in simulation software such as ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, or COMSOLProficiency in CAD software for model preparation and post-processingStrong background in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is preferred for this roleExperience in thermal and structural analysis techniquesProven track record of leading simulation projects and mentoring junior engineersExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills, both written and verbal
