Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities :
Firmware Debugging & Failure Analysis : Develop, debug, and analyze embedded firmware, with a primary focus on diagnosing system failures.
Testers Design & Development : Collaborate in the design and development of in-house testing tools and equipment to ensure product integrity and reliability.
Hardware Integration : Work closely with hardware teams to design tester platforms based on test point.
Software Development : Develop and maintain software applications for interfacing with testers and hardware devices.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution : Identify and resolve complex issues across firmware, software, and hardware systems.
Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, test procedures, and failure reports.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including product design, QA, hardware, and manufacturing teams.
Responsible for NPI engineering from design stage to high volume manufacturing.
Qualifications4-6 years of experience in embedded firmware development, debugging, and failure analysis.
Experience in failure analysis and debugging of Hardware/Firmware issues.
Able to read PCB schematics and understand HW design.
Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems and real-time applications.
Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and debugging tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, C# for test automation.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe etc.
Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers and JTAG debuggers.
Additional InformationGood to have:
Good understanding of NAND and flash technology is a plus.
Exposure to any of the statistical tools like Spotfire or Minitab.
Experience in designing and developing hardware and software testers.
