Job Description Supervise Group Claim unit. Provide coaching and guidance to team members. Conduct regular quality control audits on work performed by staff to ensure meeting expectations.Monitor productivity of staff and Service Level Agreement.Prepare department dashboard reports and any other reports as required for management or regulatory for trend analysis or reporting.Spearhead process improvement to reduce cycle time.Attend to internal and external inquiries or referrals timely. Analyze the inquiry/referral, provide a solution, and respond according to turn-around time (TAT).Liaise with external parties i.e. regulators, OFS, auditors Third Party administrators, etc. on inquiries, investigations, and complaints.Participate and coordinate system UAT activities, projects, and assignments in the Claims Department for new product launching, production defect fix, system enhancement, and/or process improvement.Review claims pending for more than 60 days.Assist and support the Head of Department (HOD) in ensuring department performance is towards operational excellence.Carry out assigned KRA.Handle all the Compliance matters related to the Group claim.Conduct training to claim assessors ensuring the claims are assessed accurately and in compliance with all applicable regulations.Job Requirement At least 8 years working experience in claims assessment/management of Life/Takaful insurance, Critical Illness, Accidental and Medical related products.With supervisory experience of at least 3 years.Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Words, Excel and PowerPoint).Academic background in medical related field is preferred (e.g. Degree in Biomedical, Bioscience or Science).At least 8 years working experience in claims assessment/management of Life/Takaful insurance, Critical Illness, Accidental and Medical related products is required.Why Join Us?
