You'll create impact by:Executing all aspects of accounting governance, closing, and reporting activities within the ASEAN-Pacific region.
Being responsible for all accounting topics, including advisory to the business, closing and reporting tasks, and disclosure requirements.
Leading monthly closing activities, preparing and reviewing journal vouchers, and supporting audit activities (internal and external).
Acting as the manager's deputy and supporting the manager in key tasks.
Performing financial statement reviews and ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
Managing projects for process optimization initiatives, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Serving as a Topic Matter Expert (TME) for complex accounting topics, providing training to users, and supporting ad-hoc requirements.
Your defining qualities:Strong Academic Foundation:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
Professional Credentials:Possess recognized accounting certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
Technical Expertise:Deep understanding of key accounting areas, including construction contracts, foreign exchange transactions, provisions, and accruals.
IFRS Proficiency:Thorough knowledge and practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards.
SAP FICO Mastery:In-depth expertise in SAP's Financial Accounting and Controlling module.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Prowess:Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions independently.
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills:Proven ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) in English, fostering strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders in an international environment.
