Senior Executive Activities, Events, Creative & Marketing, ASEAN Year of SkillsJob Purpose & Overview:
Plan, organize and execute the corporate, government, and trade events that resonate with target audiences, driving engagement and promoting event objectives in line with AYOS objectives and outcomes.
Key Accountabilities:
Event Proposal DevelopmentPrepare detailed event proposals with components like objectives, venues, agendas, target participants, and budgets, aligning with organizational and AYOS priorities to streamline resource allocation and event execution.
Ensure proposals align with strategic goals, setting the stage for high-impact events that enhance regional collaboration and partnership-building.Vendor Procurement and Logistics ManagementIdentify and select contractors, suppliers, and vendors through thorough research, coordinating logistics to ensure seamless event operations that meet organizational standards.
Coordinate logistical arrangements, including venue selection, transportation, and equipment rental, to guarantee smooth event operations company-wide, while maintaining compliance with approved standards and criteria.Secretariat Coordination and SupportEstablish event secretariats and assign tasks effectively, providing necessary support and guidance to ensure seamless collaboration and assistance in event preparation and execution across all organisational levels and branches.
Coordinate task assignments and schedules within event secretariats, fostering teamwork and accountability to achieve timely and efficient completion of event-related activities.Stakeholder Engagement SupportEngage with ASEAN and relevant stakeholders at all levels to align events and activities planned with the expectations and AYOS goals, fostering a collaborative approach in event development and implementation.
Prepare communication plans and strategies to effectively communicate event objectives, updates, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining transparency and fostering stakeholder satisfaction.Qualifications:
Degree and above in business management, mass communications, events or related discipline.
1 - 5 years of working experience in event planning and execution.
Experience in managing events and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Strong analytical, research, and communication skills required.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Ability to travel when required.
Willing to work in theKlang Valley Office.
