Career Opportunities: Senior Executive, Compliance & Monitoring (21547)Responsible to keep abreast with the latest regulators' regulations and best practices worldwide, and to ensure continuous compliance to the regulations by MAB Flight Operations community through an effective monitoring program.
To execute the safety program within Flight Operations including safety investigation, development, and promotion.
Key AccountabilityTo keep abreast with the latest and new Aviation Rules and regulations by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia and other Aviation Authorities worldwide to ensure MAB complies with the aviation's most recent requirements.
To develop and provide recommendations to the Flight Operations management team on the planned communication program and to follow through to ensure its successful and smooth implementation.
To closely monitor and timely update EASA Third Country Operator and UK TCO in coordination with other divisions to ensure MAB can continuously and smoothly operate in the European region.
To ensure the relevant Flight Operations personnel possess sound knowledge and understanding of the related safety rules and regulations to avoid legal and compliance implications for the Flight Operations division.
To conduct effective and efficient audits, supporting the Senior Executive Auditor, to ensure Flight Operations conduct complies with regulatory requirements and best practices.
To execute the safety program including safety investigation, development, and promotion.
Qualification & Working ExperienceDegree: Any field
Certificate: Internal Audit or Business Administration.
Keeping up with the rapidly evolving aviation rules, regulations, requirements, and best practices for various countries MAB operates worldwide.
Liaising and coordinating with various stakeholders, within and outside of MAB Flight Operations.
Personality TraitsA good knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Safety Management Systems.
Working knowledge and experience in Operational and/or technical aspects of Flight Operations and/or Aircraft Maintenance.
Good Knowledge of the Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR) 2016, Civil Aviation Act 1969, Civil Aviation Directives (CAD), Civil Aviation Guidance Materials (CAGM), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) annexes (1-19), relevant ICAO Docs, EASA Requirements, and IOSA Standards and Recommended Practices.
Good communication (both written and interpersonal), Microsoft Office 365 applications, and Auditing including report writing skills.
