Responsibilities:Mainly focusing on asset management and non-trade related activities (ie: Rental, Utilities).
Prepare and maintain the fixed assets data/register for HQ offices and stores.
Process fixed asset transactions (capitalization, transfer, write-off/disposal, depreciation and workflow request).
Perform month-end closing and produce monthly reports related to fixed asset and non-trade activities (ie: journal entries, prepayments, balance sheet and other ad-hoc reports).
Ensure all monthly closing tasks are completed and Fixed Asset module is closed on time.
Ensure complete fixed assets records and details are kept for audit purposes.
Involves in continuous improvement initiative implementation that aligns with the organizations' objective.
Act as an escalation point of contact for issues involving general accounting/general ledger.
Requirements:Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, or partially completed professional certification (ie: CPA, ACCA).
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field, especially knowledge in Asset Management.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly SAP and Excel.
Proficient both in communicating and writing in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Extensive and in-depth knowledge and understanding of General Accounting/General Ledger functions.
Organized, detailed, commits to deadlines with good analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
