Senior Executive, Human Resource (IR, Recruitment)Recruitment - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment)
Ensure that all departments have enough and utilize their headcount – headcount report.
Work closely with the hiring managers to understand their requirements and expectations, identify the best match candidates, and conduct phone screening interviews.
Lead and execute the recruitment drive and deployment of talent.
Work together with Group HR to establish good rapport and networks with local universities as part of the talent acquisition strategies.
Engage with local employment agencies and online recruitment portal providers to expand the current recruitment sourcing channels.
Review all applications and determine the suited designation and provide the information to the HODs.
Conduct onboarding process for newly joined employees.
Conduct offboarding for resigned staff.
Prepare and consolidate relevant reports.
Policy
Ensure at all times the terms and conditions of employment applicable to factory workers, non-executives, and executives are complied with.
Liaise with the Daikin Group HR on all matters concerning all levels of workers.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR-related policies and procedures.
Industrial Relations (IR)
Formulate and review IR policies and guidelines to promote industrial harmony.
Manage any grievances, disputes, and disciplinary cases towards prompt and amicable resolution.
Ensure disciplinary actions taken are in compliance with Employment Act 1955.
Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.
Develop and implement strategies to improve employee relations and morale.
Manage labour disputes and negotiations with unions, if applicable.
Handle conflicts and disputes in the workplace, mediating between parties to achieve resolution.
Conduct investigations into workplace issues and recommend appropriate actions.
Advise and direct line managers on appropriate disciplinary actions consistent with the Company's policy and procedures.
Employee Relation (ER)
Provide information to employees on counseling, benefits, and other services and programs available to them.
Collect and analyze data.
Inspect and improve the physical environment, such as lighting and security.
Investigate workplace situations.
Help with the recruitment and hiring processes.
Address complaints from employees.
Improve HR policies and the way the company treats employees to enhance team relationships.
Welfare & Benefits
Conduct welfare / CSR / company activities.
Ad-Hoc / Supporting
Assist and perform ad-hoc tasks and jobs assigned from time to time.
Ensure HR operations operate in a compliant manner.
Support canteen operations.
Support security operations.
Responsible for the effective delivery of Human Resource functions including but not limited to recruitment & selection, manpower planning, performance management, and employee relations.
Manage filing and documentation.
Provide administrative/clerical assistance.
Job Requirements
Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent discipline preferred.
Required language(s): Bahasa Melayu, English.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
Proactive & Creative.
Interpersonal with good communication skills.
