Job Description:
Job Specification
Conduct comprehensive monitoring and detailed reporting on Open Positions, Mark-to-Market (MtM) values, and Value at Risk (VaR) for Trading, Refineries, and Crushing plants, actively contributing to the daily Management Dashboard to support decision-making processes.
Notify the relevant parties and follow up in case the limits for open positions and prices are breached.
Contribute to the preparation of the VAR back-test report for Management.
Build good relationships with internal parties, including traders within SD Guthrie International, system vendors, information technology (IT), Tax, Legal, and finance teams.
Assist in coordinating with internal and external auditors and preparing the audited documents.
Collaborate with CORU as a SPOT system operational administrator.
Maintain and consistently update the daily market price information within the RAVE system.
Assist in executing the price sense checks across all corporate entities within the RAVE system, linking findings to prevailing market situations and trends, and providing concise summary updates for the Price Risk Management (PRM) team.
Contribute to the preparation of the monthly Stress Test report, analyzing potential risks and vulnerabilities within the trading/operations.
Assist in refreshing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Governance and Price Risk Framework Guidelines, the Knowledge Base (KB) article and Internal Process Guidelines to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Assist in preparing the risk reports for the board and senior management stakeholders.
Coordinate the quarterly updates of risk registers, ensuring timely identification, review, and substantial assessment of risks, especially during periods of significant changes in risk profiles.
Able to perform ad hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Price Risk Management, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team goals.
Job Requirement
Up to 2 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in price risk management, trading or in other numerical related roles.
Analytical skills, e.g.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective teamwork and time management skills to meet deadlines.
Experience in the palm oil industry is an added advantage.
