About You
The Specialist (Senior Exec / Assistant Manager), Public Affairs is responsible for supporting the Head of Regional Public Affairs in the execution and implementation of strategies to build, maintain, and enhance CARSOME's network with relevant Government stakeholders.
This role involves identifying potential areas of partnership between CARSOME and the Government, coordinating these partnerships, and removing bottlenecks to growth by engaging relevant regulatory stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
Act as a bridge between key Government stakeholders and CARSOME, coordinating, executing, and implementing key partnerships/projects.
Build, maintain, and enhance CARSOME's relationships with relevant Government stakeholders.
Identify, arrange, and coordinate visits, tours, meetings, and engagements between CARSOME and key Government stakeholders such as Ministers, senior civil servants, and heads of agencies.
Identify potential areas of partnership between CARSOME and the Government, managing and coordinating these partnerships, including proposing and implementing relevant Government partnerships.
Track the status of ongoing partnerships and follow up periodically.
Engage relevant regulatory stakeholders to remove bottlenecks to growth, addressing issues such as licensing, regulatory engagements, and crisis management.
Your Know-How
Strong networking and project management background.
Prior experience in Government (Ministries, Agencies, GLCs, GLICs), Government-related consultancies, or Government roles in the private sector (Public policy, Gov Relations, Public Affairs) is preferred.
Proficiency in English and the local language, along with skills in networking, persuasion, presentation, communication, coordination, execution, and implementation.
Solid understanding of how to network, communicate CARSOME's positions and interests, and coordinate the execution of partnerships.#J-18808-Ljbffr
