To establish, building data profiling, document, implement, maintain and continually improve on "Efficient Management of Electrical Energy" in accordance with the latest Act and regulatory requirements.
Good communication skills, ability to keep accurate records, proficiency with various computer software including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Proficiency with computer-aided maintenance systems.
Job DutiesResponsible for assisting Sustainability Manager prepare & committing, planning, operating, checking and executing all the Energy Efficiency programs.
To identify, set up targets, plan, perform, audit, monitor and effectively manage the Energy Management Plan.
To assist your superior in the sustainability program such as Indoor Air Quality, waste management and the 3R Program.
To implement an awareness program to inculcate Energy Management in the building.
To oversee the functions and activities of the Sustainability Program at all sites by working together with Sustainability Managers to ensure the Company's objectives and goals are achieved.
To provide technical and financial evaluation analysis reports for energy management/ activities which include estimated project cost, financial terms, energy saving and payback period.
To ensure actions and decisions are always guided by the company's mission and key corporate values.
Any other duties assigned by the Company from time to time.
To prepare the scheduling, checklist, check, verify and review for improvement on energy initiative.
Ensure all related documents on energy record keeping are in order and updated to Manager (Sustainability).
To assist in monitoring the tools & fixed assets including on purchase of any requested tools/ assets, to perform audit/ inspection on the particular items from time to time.
To perform any other related functions and activities as assigned/ directed by the company.
Additional Task - Always alert and respond to any "On Call".
To attend, rectify and update the current status to superior.
Additional ResponsibilityTo plan, coordinate, communicate and execute Business Process reviews for energy projects/ matters.
Plan and coordinate the development of the Energy Business Process Manual (EBPM)/ Work Instructions (WI) and update/ review of existing EBPM/WI.
Plan, coordinate and assist Internal Audit activities including audit exercise, reporting and follow-up with process owner.
Ensuring audit plan and arrangement, audit execution, reporting and follow-up are up-to-date and in compliance with audit requirements.
Complete all necessary documents, records and reports required.
Review, monitor, update and execute the Energy program plan.
Energy, Safety, Health and Environment Reps - assure safe, healthy and efficient operation of equipment and working environment.
Inspect external subcontractor tools/ PPE.
Review, monitor, update and execute the Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) program plan.
Review, monitor, update and execute the Energy & ESG program plan.
Job RequirementsPossess engineering degree or degree in engineering or any related qualification.
Possess a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) by Greentech Malaysia and Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
3 - 5 years working experiences.
Experience in supervision and leading, management system and document controller.
Experience in building facilities/ custodial/ cleaning.
Experience in the HVAC system, electrical system/ plumbing system/ control room system.
Experience in Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) implementation and Detail Energy Audit (DEA) would be advantageous.
Experience in energy calculation.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Good spoken and written in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) skills.
Knowledge on compliance and safety regulation.
Technical knowledge of building systems.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Employment is under PHB Facility Management Berhad, a subsidiary company to Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad and this position will be based at PHB Facility Management Berhad HQ.
