Responsibilities: To provide facilities support pertaining to MECHANICAL system especially for Compressed Dry Air (CDA) and Vacuum system to ensure continuous supply of utilities at the required performance level or specifications.Formulate and implement maintenance programs for CDA and Vacuum system.Ensure plant histories, drawings, data, and other appropriate documentations are being generated and properly filed for future reference and review.Evaluate and recommend appropriate spares, consumables, and other resources necessary for day-to-day operations.Develop and implement standard operating procedures and ensure optimum operation of the systems, complying with the relevant code, standards and regulations.Responsible for the review and estimate of facilities, repairing, consumable and other related costs.Monitor and review system performance and capacity usage and provide regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly).Ability to carry out basic design calculations.Data collection is part of the responsibilities to carry out predictive maintenance and to identify improvement opportunities in terms of reliability and energy saving.To conduct periodic checks and routine inspection according to the system recommendation and checklist. To troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns promptly. Under urgent cases, the person shall be required to work outside normal hours.Identify best available technologies to increase reliability, reduce maintenance costs and improve energy efficiency of the systems.Ensure all equipment is operating and maintain cost effectively, safely and efficiently.Supervise the work of supervisors and technicians, including subcontractors engaging in specialized in maintenance work to ensure safety and high quality. Comply to company code and conduct, SOPs, LOPs & PORs. Develop and update Tool Utilities Matrix (TUM) and Facilities Utilities Matrix (FUM) for CDA and Vacuum System for ST Muar.Develop and update P&ID for CDA and Vacuum System for ST Muar.Managing project execution related to CDA and Vacuum system inclusive of preparation of technical specification, scope of work and procurement process. Requirements: At least a bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 5 years of experience in Facilities/Maintenance of Air Compressor, Dryer and Vacuum System.Have good knowledge in problem solving methodology; 8D report, RCA, FMEA.Knowledge of vibration theory and ability to analyse vibration reports.Basic knowledge of metallurgy, welding standards, NdT and most common metal defects.Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Power Point, CAD softwareExperiences in Scada, FMCS, CMMS, SPC and Industry 4.0 will add advantage.Good command in English and has excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with people at all levels.Good in problem solving, proactive and predictive approach in operations.Able to work with ambiguity, be highly independent and willing to take initiative, challenge, and responsibilities. Able to manage team members and external suppliers or contractors.Cooperative, teamwork and willing to learn.Positive learning attitude, able to read and understand P and ID, flow chart, work instructions, risks assessment, and equipment specification with good engineering knowledge and practices.
