Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to join our team in a manufacturing environment. This role primarily focuses on costing, while also encompassing financial management, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on costing experience and strong analytical skills, with the ability to deliver actionable insights to drive operational efficiency and support strategic business decisions.Key Responsibilities:Costing and AnalysisCollect and analyse cost data, including materials, labour, and operational expenses.
Develop and maintain accurate cost-tracking systems within the ERP platform to organize and streamline cost-related information.
Identify and monitor fixed costs, such as salaries and administrative expenses.
Track and manage variable costs, including raw material purchases and utility expenses.
Prepare comprehensive costing reports to support strategic decision-making and profitability analysis.Stock Take and Variance ReconciliationPlan, coordinate, and execute monthly stock take exercises.
Reconcile and resolve stock take variances in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.Financial ManagementManage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards (e.g., MFRS).
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.Collaboration and SupportSupport the preparation of materials for management and board meetings, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the team.Qualifications and RequirementsEducation : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is preferred.
Experience :At least 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
Hands-on experience in costing within a manufacturing environment is essential.Skills :
Strong knowledge of costing methodologies and manufacturing finance processes.
Proficiency in usingEPICOR ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) software for cost tracking and analysis (a plus point).
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel andPower BI(a plus point).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
