What Will You Do?As Senior Finance Executive, you will be reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, supporting the company through general accounting responsibilities as well as full participation in the month-end close processes.
This role also involves checking Vendor onboarding and managing the procurement process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Hands-on in day-to-day accounting operations from Accounts Payable (entering invoices, payments & payments preparation, verify staff claims, maintaining fixed assets register, month-end closing entries including Prepayments and Accruals, weekly cash flow management, etc.).
Ensure all transactions and intercompany billings are accurately accounted for and confirmed every month.
Identify and follow up any un-reconciled items.
Ensure timely submission of monthly reporting after closing, including Opex Variance Analysis, Bank reconciliation, and Notes to Accounts (Day 1 - 2 Reporting).
Conduct frequent financial assessments including FOREX evaluations, bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts.
Prepare for and manage audits, developing audit schedules, responding to queries, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
Maintain rigorous tax compliance for local requirements—ensure timely e-filing of tax return (SST), handle annual tax on income, manage tax payments, withholding tax, and prepare transfer pricing documentation.
Preparing BNM IIP reporting quarterly.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting documents to maintain system and operational integrity.
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time, which may involve supporting documentation checks and obtaining necessary approvals for high-value payments.
What Skills & Experience Do You Need?Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advance Diploma / Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent.
Well-versed in IFRS and Local GAAP.
At least 4 to 5 years of working experience in accounting & sound knowledge in local taxes.
Knowledge in using Microsoft Dynamics D365 would have an advantage.
Must be proficient in Microsoft office application and possess computerized accounting software knowledge.
Good oral and written communication skills in English.
Good interpersonal skills and able to work and communicate with all levels of management.
Proactive, independent and able to multi-task in meeting deadlines.
