JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing the full spectrum of compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and maintaining accurate HR administration.
This role also involves leading strategic recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent, developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives, and managing employee relations to foster a positive organizational climate.
Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners is essential to support the company's manpower needs and contribute to a harmonious and engaged workforce.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Compensation & Benefits
1.
Manage the full spectrum of payroll processing for all companies within the group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2.
Prepare, analyze, and submit HR reports accurately and on time to relevant stakeholders.
3.
Ensure statutory reports and payments are prepared accurately and submitted on time, maintaining compliance with government regulations.
4.
Stay informed on government policy changes and adjust practices as necessary.
5.
Oversee HR administration tasks, including HR system management, preparation of letters, and maintenance of staff files.
6.
Assist with company performance evaluation practices, ensuring effective implementation and consistency.
7.
Engage with outsourced agents for compensation and benefits surveys to benchmark salary packages and fringe benefits.
8.
Implement and monitor staff benefit programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with company policies.
Recruitment & Employee Engagement
1.
Lead strategic recruitment processes to attract the right talent for identified positions, ensuring the company meets its manpower needs within specified timelines.
2.
Explore and implement new recruitment sources to maintain a consistent supply of suitable candidates, both actively and passively.
3.
Act as the main contact for hiring managers and business partners on all recruitment-related matters, supporting their manpower and business operations needs.
4.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant and interview databases to optimize talent search efforts.
5.
Initiate and implement staff engagement initiatives that enhance employee motivation and contribute to a positive organizational climate.
6.
Manage staff grievances and disciplinary cases, mitigating industrial relations risks to protect both company and employee interests.
7.
Coordinate with outsourced industrial relations consultants to ensure effective and efficient labor management practices.
8.
Provide administrative support to senior HR leaders to ensure the smooth operation of the HR department.
KEY CHALLENGES
1.
Rules & regulations in different countries: Need to keep close relationship with different countries' agents which helps to ensure the HR practices are according to the respective country's rules & regulations.
E.g: taxes – payroll, employment contract – HR admin etc.

Recruiting quality talents that fit the job profiles and Company culture.
3.
Effective yet tactful internal and external communication.
4.
Maintaining confidentiality of employee data and incidences.
5.
Providing fair and sound advice.
6.
Creating an employee-centric, service-oriented HR department.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1.
Knowledge
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or equivalent
- General knowledge of the Malaysian Labour Law and practices
2.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels (Communication / Customer Service Orientation)
- Meticulous and detail-oriented (Excellence Focus)
- Sound ability to deal with conflict situations in a rational and constructive manner (Communication / Excellence Focus)
- Proactive and positive personality (Customer Service Orientation)
3.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in the full spectrum of recruitment across all levels.
