The Senior HR Executive will assist and support Axiata Digital Labs' (ADL) talent strategy in Malaysia to meet the company's business objectives.
This role requires expertise in Talent Acquisition (TA), Learning & Development (L&D), and Employee Engagement, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition (TA): Assist in designing, developing, and executing ADLs talent acquisition strategy in Malaysia.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection, for Engineering and Support vacancies.
Consult with business and HR teams to identify talent gaps and create effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire diverse and qualified talent.
Collaborate with hiring managers, regional heads, delivery teams, and resource management to fulfill resourcing needs while ensuring alignment with client manday rates and margins.
Liaise with external recruitment vendors and negotiate resource costs per market standards.
Network with local universities, professional bodies, and industry professionals to build talent pipelines and promote ADL as an employer of choice.
Partner with employer branding and marketing teams to create campaigns that highlight ADLs value as a preferred employer in Malaysia.
Prepare recruitment metrics and dashboards for management reviews, offering data-driven insights to improve hiring outcomes.
Learning & Development (L&D): Identify and coordinate training programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee capabilities in Malaysia.
Collaborate with training providers to organize and facilitate training sessions based on manager requests and business needs.
Ensure compliance by tracking the completion of mandatory training programs for Malaysian employees.
Partner with HRDC to ensure training fund submissions are completed accurately and on time.
Employee Engagement: Design and implement initiatives to foster a positive employee experience and enhance engagement across teams in Malaysia.
Organize engagement activities that align with ADLs culture and values, promoting collaboration and employee satisfaction.
Act as a key point of contact for employee feedback, addressing concerns and promoting an inclusive work environment.
Reporting & Collaboration: Provide regular updates to HRBP MY and key stakeholders on TA, L&D, and employee engagement initiatives in Malaysia.
Share insights into recruitment metrics, employee engagement trends, and training outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, delivery teams, regional heads, legal, and external vendors, to meet organizational goals.
Skills and Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar capacity within the software/IT industry.
Professional qualifications in HR are an added advantage.
Strong understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, L&D, and employee engagement.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with global teams.
Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills.
