Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs, recruit for open positions, and develop retention strategies.
Support change management initiatives and assist with organizational transformation efforts, including workforce restructuring and culture change programs.
Handle employee grievances, performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and industrial regulations, including handling government reports, audits, and permits.
Partner with senior management in developing HR strategies that align with business objectives, supporting long-term organizational goals.
Design and implement employee development programs focusing on skill-building, leadership, and performance improvement.
Review compensation structures and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
Manage work permits, immigration compliance, and documentation for expatriates and foreign employees.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience in organizational change, restructuring, or transformation projects.
Good knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple HR functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Good understanding of compensation structures, benefits policies, and labor laws affecting HR practices.
Proficiency in HRIS systems; Workday will be an advantage, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in managing complex employee relations issues and conducting investigations.
Experience with immigration processes, including handling work visas and permits is an added advantage.
