Job Description
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Infrastructure Specialist.
Responsibilities
Manage and troubleshoot on Windows server system and other visualisation platform like VMWare.
Perform server, storage and network maintenance, administration, backup and restore, health check, performance tuning and capacity planning.
Basic firewall policy and DB table space update.
Provide ad-hoc maintenance service on roster basis.
Conduct preventive maintenance, system performance analysis and reporting to IT senior management.
Coordinate with vendor for providing daily supports and solutions to customers.
Manage infrastructure upgrade and implementation projects.
Compile service reports and conduct service review meetings.
Job Requirements
Higher Diploma holder or above in Computer Science/ Information Technology disciplines.
At least 4 years relevant experience in system administration and break fix support.
Hands-on experience in Windows and server visualisation platform (VMware ESXi 6.5 or above).
Knowledge /certification on Cloud platforms.
Experience in supporting HP infrastructure is an advantage.
Willing to acquire new technology and skill, and proactively provide improvement measures.
Familiar with change management and ITIL certified.
