SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Ensure that all local IT infrastructure adheres to Group IT standards and complies with Group IT Security policies, minimizing any technology-related disruptions to local business operations by conducting regular assessments and audits.
This position will be based in Shah Alam, Selangor and reporting to Manager - IT.
Responsibilities:
Drive the development and implementation of IT systems and applications, including Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps in Office 365.
Lead the digitalization initiatives by conducting training, integrating new solutions, and aligning with global strategies to enhance efficiency.
Ensure compliance with IT regulations, governance, and standards while proactively monitoring and reporting on IT services, projects, risks, and performance.
Maintain local servers, switches, and Azure Cloud IT equipment by coordinating with departments and vendors to ensure high availability of IT/OT services.
Manage LAN/WAN/Internet networks by administering, troubleshooting, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors/ISPs to ensure seamless connectivity.
Coordinate with IT vendors for system installations, device setups, and troubleshooting to support smooth daily operations.
Stay updated with technological advancements, recommend solutions, and implement optimized systems to enhance operations and leverage new technologies.
Offer 2nd-level IT support to emerging markets, ensuring requests are resolved per Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Oversee and maintain IT and network infrastructure to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Provide end-user support for IT-related issues, ensuring productivity through effective handling of incidents using the Jotun ticketing system.
Troubleshoot basic computer, system, and application issues to resolve operational problems.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar IT role.
Strong knowledge of IT and network infrastructure, with preferred certifications in Aruba or Cisco networks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office 365.
Experience in developing process flows using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps; additional knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is an advantage.
Proven ability to manage IT projects, work independently, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
IT Business Partnering mindset with a clear understanding of digitalization demands.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on end-user support.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a creative approach to challenges.
ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
Proficiency in English is required.
