Contribute to curriculum development, innovation, enhancement, and quality assurance in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate Software Engineering units.
Develop and deliver innovative and excellent teaching, learning, and assessment experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate Software Engineering students.
Conduct high-quality research, maintaining an active record of publication and building a profile of grants and Ph.D. student supervision.
Support the development and implementation of a research strategy consistent with the research priorities of Monash University Malaysia and Monash University Australia.
Participate in collaborations with other universities and with government, industry, and/or civil society to drive research impact and educational excellence.
Key Selection Criteria
Ph.D. (Level 8, MQF), Master's degree (Level 7, MQF), and Bachelor's degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing field or equivalent, and three (3) years of academic experience.
Ability to plan, lead, and manage change processes and resources in tertiary education.
A strong record of teaching and curriculum development which demonstrates a commitment to educational innovation.
A good research record, with a strong trajectory in publications, grants, and Ph.D./Masters/Honours supervision.
Experience collaborating with partners in universities, government, and/or civil society.
Experience in leading, managing, and coordinating a broad range of academic functions aligned with strategic objectives.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated capacity to effectively work cooperatively with partners in universities, government and/or civil society.
Eligible to register with the MBOT as a Professional Technologist.
