As a Sr Logistic Analyst, you will be accountable for supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, and third-party warehousing.
You will evaluate customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met.
You will provide data analysis for production planning and volume studies and participate in process/rating improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations (Warehouse & Planning Management):
Oversee receiving of incoming materials, shipping of all outgoing items, and supply Production Materials to the production floor.
Ensure timely data entry into SAP system and accuracy of the system.
Manage and coordinate delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programs as appropriate.
Work with suppliers to manage the impact and escalate issues as required.
Oversee material handling job between warehouse and production areas and be able to handle this task as and when required.
Ensure timely follow-up on shipment schedule for packing and shipping finished goods.
Participate and plan actively during monthly stock take and mini cycle counts.
Conduct closing process for period end, maintain and develop efficient operation for all inventory accounts.
Manage material across the supply chain ensuring levels specified are maintained and is used in the appropriate order (FIFO) and time frame.
Oversee and manage the sheeting operations & scrap handling material.
Interface with freight companies and material vendors as necessary.
Control all receiving-platform operations.
Perform material planning activity for the plant and ensure material planning activity is carried out in SAP-MRP environment.
Carry out capacity planning based on demand outlook and assist for vendor audit as required.
Manage the supply planning function for the site and host the supply planning meeting with GPH global supply chain group.
Assist production to carry out MOV/PO variance analysis.
Work with the Demand Planner to determine the master schedule/build plan for the site.
Support the new project implementation and operations at site.
Operations (Import & Export Compliance):
Work closely with Royal Malaysia Customs Department to ensure timely and accurate Customs clearance.
Work with Global Trade Compliance (GTC) and Royal Malaysia Customs Department to create and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
Conduct pre-entry reviews of import documents and request corrections when errors or discrepancies are found.
Conduct post-entry audits to ensure accurate Customs clearance by Malaysia Customs.
Arrange payment of Malaysia Customs invoices.
Notify GTC regarding any communications or inquiries from Malaysia Customs and coordinate with GTC to issue response.
Complete a bi-annual assessment of Malaysia Customs services and identify corrective actions.
Operations (Export Compliance):
Create export documents including invoice, packing list, hazmat declarations, and certificates of origin.
Review exports for compliance with any applicable Sanctions, Embargoes, or Antiboycott Regulations.
Coordinate with approved Honeywell Freight Forwarder and GTC to ensure compliant export procedures are being followed.
Conduct periodic internal audits of export documentation.
Interface with Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, and Engineering to ensure compliance with export regulations.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree
WE VALUE:
Some experience in Logistics or relevant functions in Integration Supply Chain.
Ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion.
Good collaboration and influence with management and cross-functional teams.
Well-versed in SAP system usage for demand & supply planning, warehouse maintenance activities.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Leadership skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
