We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Logistics Executive to oversee and optimize warehousing operations and effectively manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
This role requires hands-on involvement in warehouse operations, with a commitment to being on-site 2–3 days per week to ensure seamless coordination and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Warehousing Operations ManagementPlan and oversee daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including receiving, stock transfers, order fulfilment, and dispatch, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines.
Provide all necessary documents to 3PL service providers for inbound shipment container arrivals, ensuring stock is received into the WMS within the agreed timeline.
Regularly review and assess warehouse operations to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to analyse workflows and implement enhancements for streamlined operations.
3PL ManagementAct as the liaison between the company and 3PL service providers.
Monitor 3PL performance to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Address operational challenges with 3PL partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Review and assess OT claim requests based on agreed matrix.
Logistics CoordinationCoordinate and schedule delivery of the inbound container/trucks with hauliers and transporters to the 3PL service provider's warehouse.
Coordinate closely with internal supply chain teams to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives.
Ensure accurate and timely communication of delivery requirements to all stakeholders.
Address and resolve logistical issues, including delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies, in a prompt and effective manner.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of import/export documents for audits and legal requirements.
Reporting & AnalysisGenerate reports on warehouse and logistics operations performance.
Use data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
Provide actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Experience:Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on warehousing operations and 3PL management.
Proven ability to oversee and improve warehouse workflows.
Skills:Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in logistics and warehouse management tools/software.
Availability:Willingness to station at the warehouse for 2–3 days per week as required.
