Job Description ABOUT YOUR ROLE You will be required to lead the compliance of end-to-end Logistics for MY, SG & PHP. Managing the operation of external warehouses including bonded warehouses.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE Coordinate with the planning of shipping from the manufacturing location. Prepare operational schedules and coordinate logistics activities to ensure delivery of products meet specifications.
Lead brokerage compliance and all customs clearance related activities for import shipments Application and renewal of MIDA certifications for manufacturing raw materials duty exemption.
Timely updates on C1 and CJ5 application for SST exemption.
Lead the operations of the external warehouses (including bonded warehouse), ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
Negotiate prices and rates in accordance to company guidelines and standards.
SIRIM application for electronics demo (for engineering team) equipment.
Ensure compliance with customs clearance procedures, particularly for bonded warehouse shipments.
Ensure all logistics operations comply with local and international trade regulations.
Handle documentation for bonded warehouse activities, customs clearance, and delivery logistics.
Monitor and analyze KPIs related to external warehouse and transporter to drive continuous improvement Manage and coordinate with import shipment and shunting transporters for efficient and timely delivery arrangements.
Coordinate inventory control and stock accuracy in both bonded and non-bonded storage facilities.
Participate or lead process effectiveness and continuous improvement projects.
Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports. Other job functions as and when required by the department. Qualifications WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and any other related fields 5 years of experience in import-export process is required Well versed in total logistics, supply chain and customs requirements.
Experience in web-based ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
